“If I Did This” A New Drama by award-winning playwright E.M. Lewis.
Editor Brett Martin hires grieving mystery writer Hal Walker to ghostwrite the “story of the century” — what really happened to Jessie Lawrence, according to her husband Donnie, who was tried and acquitted of her murder, but who everyone believes is guilty. When Hal goes to Donnie’s house to begin interviewing him, he doesn’t expect to meet Donnie’s fifteen year old daughter, Miriam.  Or to become so tangled up in the question of Donnie’s guilt (or innocence) that it will require the services of police detective Hayden Quinn to sort things out. Who gets to decide what justice needs to be done?  Who gets to tell the story? Scroll down to register for tickets “If I Did This”. Scroll down to register for tickets for “If I did This”.
